Vanessa is spayed, FIV and FeLV negative, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. Vanessa and her sister Victoria came to the rescue from a local shelter. We are not sure exactly how these beautiful girls ended up there, but they are very friendly girls and clearly have been loved in the past. As you can tell, Vanessa and her sister are polydactyls which means that they have extra toes. Both girls have extra toes on both front feet and their back feet. These toes can be a bit more difficult to trim than regular cat nails and they need to be trimmed regularly to prevent them from growing over into their paw pads. For this reason, these girls will need experienced adopters who are familiar with trimming cat nails. Vanessa is a very outgoing girl. She is pretty confident and is ready to explore her environment right away. She enjoys a lot of attention from humans as well, she likes to be cuddled and doesn't mind being held. This beautiful girl has perfect litter box manners, uses her scratching posts, and enjoys climbing high up on cat towers. She would love to have a huge cat tower in her forever home. She also really loves to bat toys around and chase them. Vanessa would be good with others cats, gentle dogs, and gentle children. She must be adopted with her sister, a friend from foster care, or to a home that already has another young cat that she can play with. This stunning girl is being fostered in Kalamazoo and must be picked up from her foster home, please consider this when applying.
